Jeff and I was so excited to shoot Khin and Myo’s engagement session at Chicago. We were prepared for good food, fine dining and famous Chicago deep dish pizza, but we were not prepared for the wind chill @ Lake Michigan. Shooting an engagement session in the cold is like sacrificing for art. I must suffer in order to get the shots I want. Poor Jeff was holding the flash with his bare hands and sometimes I forgot how cold it was because I was having so much fun pressing the shutter even though I couldn’t feel my fingers.
Despite the subzero temperature, Khin and Myo are one awesome couple to work with. We had so much fun and sometimes I forget how cold it really was. I couldn’t believe Khin was wearing a short sleeves top for the photo shoot next to Lake Michigan, as I have never seen a frozen lake in my life!! Sorry that I keep emphasizing on the temperature, because I really thought mid-March should be Spring with green grass and blooming flowers.
Khin and Myo also treated Jeff and I for some awesome Chicago deep dish pizza @ Giordano’s, that was the highlight of the trip!
I’ll post the slide show soon and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in May!
