Jeff and I had so much fun shooting Lakisha and Rochard’s Wedding in San Ramon today. They got married at the San Ramon Golf Course, which is about 10 minutes away from my house! Their wedding was the most beautiful one that I have seen! I’m going to Denver tomorrow to attend David Beckstead’s workshop, and I will try to post some pictures as soon as I come back.

San Ramon Bay Area Maternity Photography : Marie
It’s truly amazing how do a sperm and an egg turn into an embryo, then a fetus and then a baby. The process is unbelievably complicated! I believe having maternity session is to document the celebration of the new addition and to embrace the body changes.
It was extremely hot on the day of the shoot, I think it was about 92 degree outside and I haven’t bought a fan for the studio yet! But I have been giving Marie breaks every 20 minutes so the baby can stay happy inside her belly.

Walnut Creek Senior Portrait Photography : Loraine
I’ve known Loraine since day one from John Muir. I can’t believe she’s been working there for 7 years, and it’s been a little more than 3 years for me. Loraine is graduating from RT school so she wanted me to take some portrait/graduation/cap & gown pictures for her.
We went to UC Berkeley for the first part of the photo shoot. I have not been there for almost 10 years and I definitely feel ‘old’ around all the college kids! Loraine really wanted to take her cap and gown pictures at the Emeryville Marina but unfortunately we were not able to fight the 23 mph wind! We then decided to go back to Walnut Creek where the wind was only 9 mph!
I learned so much about Loraine tonight and I wish her best of luck in her future. I’m so happy for her as she opens up a new chapter in her life.

Loraine has such a sweet smile!

Guess where we took our graduation pictures at?????

These are taken next to the elevator at the parking structure in Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek!! I was leaning against a trash can the whole time!
