DeYoung Museum Engagement Session : Nicole & Kurt Preview

Best engagement session ever! I loved how the pictures turned out and there are so many nice shots that I got. I will post some more soon. Nicole and Kurt are such a cute couple and we had so much fun at the engagement session! I would continue taking pictures until much later if it was not freezing cold in Golden Gate Park. I cannot wait till their wedding next year!

Btw, I hope you all find the new blog location okay. I have spent many hours in the past few days trying to customize my new blog. There are still works to be done but so far I think it looks good enough. There are features that I want to add, so much to do with so little time…Please feel free to subscribe to my blog via email notification or RSS feeds. I hope you will enjoy my brand new blog!

Half Moon Bay Day Trip

My friend Ivy and I had a day trip to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Half Moon Bay this past Sunday. The weather was not as nice as we expected, but it’s still gorgeous regardless. We then stayed at the hotel for an expensive and not so good dinner. The only good part is the excellent creme brulee and the chocolate cake..and the live music. It was a nice little retreat before I suffered from 3 nights of graveyard shifts.

I would love to return to the Ritz Carlton to shoot a wedding. If you are looking for a wedding photographer for your wedding, please email me for special rates.

San Ramon Family & Children Photography : Landon

Baby pictures are not easy to take. They move around a lot and can get very emotional, so that makes taking baby pictures kindda difficult. On the other hand, they will never give you a fake smile or a fake cry. Whatever caught on camera is the true emotions…priceless emotions. The part that I found out about baby photography is the importance of timing. They are in their best moods after feeding and pooping. DO NOT bother them when they need a nap or a meal. DO NOT attempt to take pictures of them after 6 pm unless you want to record cranky babies. DO NOT take pictures of new born for more than 30 minutes and 1 hour for 2-5 years old unless you want them to start crying. There are many rules you need to follow and THAT’S that make baby photography difficult.

But I LOVE taking baby pictures!!! they are just so cute and precious. It’s just amazing how fast they grow especially during the first year. I feel honored to have a chance to record their physical and emotional growth. The feeling is…what can I say..Priceless.
