Happy New Year everyone! I’m about to say good-bye to 2008 and hope for a better 2009. I have accomplished so much (photography-wise) during 2008 and 2009 will definitely be another exciting year. I’m currently working on a brand new website with David Jay’s showit site and you can preview my site. Any recommendations and suggestions are welcome!

I’ll also have my logo ready around late Janurary or early February, and there will be a price adjustment on all of my packages around that time also. So if you want to book me for the current price, please contact me before February to lock in your rate! I also made a rule that I can only do 3 weddings per month, with that said May 2009 is already fully booked out! I still have limited dates available on all other months for 2009.

For Jessica and Nelson’s shoot we were lucky that the sun made a surprise visit and we weren’t stuck taking photos in the rain.  It was still quite chilly but Jessica and Nelson were great sports in taking off their coats and scarves to get some great shots. I especially love the evening shots with the dramatic change of color in the sky. They are such a lovely and easy going couple and I’m really looking forward to their upcoming wedding in June 2009.

Merry Christmas! Sorry I have not been blogging regularly as I should. but hey, everybody is busy with the holiday season and believe it or not, I have not quite finished with my Christmas shopping yet. There are discounts everywhere and sometimes it’s hard to decide what to get for everybody.

It was a very lovely day today in San Francisco, Jeff and I had a great time shooting the engagement session with Jessica and Nelson. We had so much fun and I could not wait to shoot their wedding in 2009.

I think it’s about the time of the year sum up what happened to me in 2008 (not in chronological order):

1) tooth problem x 1 year, = tooth extraction and bone graft (ouch!)

2) my grandma has passed away, now she resting peacefully in heaven

3) Jessie Cho Photography has officially launched

4) Stimulated the very bad economy by spending more than $7K on photographic equipments

5) My house value depreciated about 20% so far

6) Charlie is officially house broken

7) Finally visited Europe for the first time (Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, France, etc)

8 ) Backyard landscape is still not completed

9) Had about 5 violin lessons but failed to continue due to that fact that I love to spend time in front of the computer more than to practice violin

10) Married x 1 year = love each other even more

Things that will happen in 2009

1) Tooth implant

2) Stimulate the economy even more by buying more photographic equipment

3) Barack Obama will be able to fix the economy
